BAD HAND [beta]

BAD HAND is a two player, gmless, character-focused mini TTRPG about sacrifice and debt, designed to be picked up and played easily in a single sitting.

What would it take for you to sell your soul? Players take the role of the Devil and the Debtor, playing rounds of blackjack to decide who owns the debt. The goal of the Debtor is to win back what they originally sacrificed; the goal of the Devil is to take more than what was owed.

BAD HAND is currently in PWYW beta for play testing and feedback. The final release will include updated art, an additional light mode PDF, and optional bonus rules, along with any potential changes to the rules themselves

Game requires:

- A standard deck of playing cards
- Method of your choice to keep track of points

Rulebook includes:

- Explanation of the goals of the game

- Set up guide for characters
- Re-flavoring suggestions, if the Devil isn't your thing
- A step by step guide for playing (a modified form of) blackjack built in to the rules

Purchase includes:

- Beta Playtesting Version: dark mode PDF + TXT file (currently downloadable)

- Final Version: light mode PDF, dark mode PDF, and TXT file (will be available after playtesting feedback)
